The Awakening

The Awakening is an exhibition that highlights how the world we live in is not purely material, but spiritual as well. While the spiritual dimensions are often overlooked or difficult to perceive, the human experience is still shaped by both what we can see and touch, and what exists beyond the visible.

In this collection, Diana uses charcoal and colored pencil media, to capture the emotions, struggles, choices, faith and the sense of self, as she connects the material and spiritual worlds.

Her works are drawn from personal experiences of faith, hope, struggle and awakening, as she invites the viewer to reflect on their own experiences and the unseen forces that may have shaped them.
