I picked up film photography as an attempted way to learn to control less. Film was interesting to me because I had no way of controlling its end outcome. In a way, it has taught me to enjoy being in the present and the views around me; and that there is beauty in imperfections and mistakes. It has also been an attempt to feel closer to and converse with my Ahkong, who I recently learned was an avid photographer in his day.
