Gunzert House

Gunzert House is a cultural center located in Mwanza, Tanzania. The former residence of a German District Commissioner of Mwanza from 1907-1916. The house was later restored and is now used as an information center for tourists and researchers, a public gallery of art work collections from the Lake Zone and visiting artists, a library of books and tapes for academic and research purposes, a public park with botanical and recreational garden, and a space for children's games and recreation.
