Wakati Wetu
SAWA Project
Wakati Wetu is a group exhibition that includes artworks from ten female visual artists from Mwanza, Tanzania. Wakati Wetu means Our Time in Swahili. These artists participated in a one-month workshop by Sanaa na Wanawake (SAWA), and shared their work through physical exhibitions in Mwanza and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This online exhibition will allow their work to be seen by viewers from all over the world, and be accessible at any time.
